You could always purchase some points via offers from American airlines or US airways, don't they have pretty good deals as well??? You just need to watch out for the best bonus offers and u can afford to if you are not in a hurry...

I agree on the above idea. Decide where you transferring to and purchase miles on a bonus deal to the relative frequent flyer below.
With US dividend miles you must be joined for 12 days before you can take advantage of the deals. Here are some links.

I see that and it looks interesting. But again I'm starting from scratch I have no accounts and no points. So I have to spend say $500 to buy 50,000 share into my wifes account 40,000 which turns into 60,000 then return back to my account for a total of 70,000 .Can I keep doing that until I reach the amount I need to travel? Alan you seem to know abit about it what's your opinion?

I just thought instead of simply returning the points back to my account why can't I share them back to double my gains?
