I omitted that for interstate arrivals, there are myki machines in the landside at Melbourne T2 international (arrivals level) and also IIRC in the Jetstar T4 terminal, also at arrivals on the ground floor.

Fair point, but it depends how many trips you’re gonna make? The card costs $3 for a concession holder so for a single day I wouldn’t even bother as it would cost you more to get the myki! ($2.85 plus the $3 to get the card, compared to $5.70 for a full fare. Plus the time saving in not having to get the card and load it!)

I had selected a wine earlier this week but noticed the cork was weeping/dripping from this 22 year old vintage. So I took one for the team and made sure it was ok - fine after extracting the crumbling cork and breathing a bit ... sediment was factory strength ... hic! Oh well, next cab off the rank ...

I go to Melbourne regularly so I switched a Myki card to a concession basis couple of years back

At half price it’s $2.75 per day
Noting last time here I seemed to get $5 for 5 days transport !!

I'm sure it will be a night to remember and send Mark off in style. Sad I can't be there but I will raise a Coke Zero in his memory tonight. I'm in Bangkok for my winter break.

I can't be there tonight and I missed Mark's funeral as I was on a plane.
