Drink rules at OT for entirety of time AFF groups have been visiting have been fairly loose and simple - bring a decent bottle of red to share.

Of course many a night plenty pax bought more than 1 bott but that is up to you. Remember it’s not a race to outdo others - but sharing is caring and the man himself always fronted up with a quality drop - or 2

Feel free to post pics of your planned wines as BB has done if double ups are a concern.

1st bott corkage is included in your dinner pmt - subsequent botts require corkage fee $20 - remember bring cash for your extras and tips as we are not going to burden mgmt with multiple CC pmts

Boarding process will follow Southwest Airlines model - First to check-in = First to board = First to select any seat you desire. (Row 1 and Row 2 blocked for Status Pax)

Above table will be updated periodically to reflect payments and additional passengers should there be late bookings.

Last night I used @Cruiser Elite suggested taxi service to get from the airport to the city. It went without a glitch in a Lexus suv. Thanks for the tip Cruiser.
The Moss Wood red in my checked in luggage survived the trip from Perth.

As I was flying HLO went to Prince Wine Store and picked up a bottle (and was very impressed with their selection)

Bringing a bottle of something red which I hope others won't mind too much as we don't drink ourselves.
I have very early bedtimes so look forward to putting some faces to the handles, pay my respects and condolences to the family and might be able to offer anyone towards the southeast a ride home.

The route 58 tram from William St, Melbourne CBD southbound (or from South Yarra station west and northbound) stops very close to the venue in Park St, South Melbourne.

myki cards (if you need one) cost A$6 (plus what you load as fares) for adults and can be purchased at tram stops that have ticket machines or any staffed railway station. 'Tap and go' is now available on Melbourne trains, trams and buses (and shorter distance rural Victoria V/Line trains) using all smartphones., but many users still prefer to have a myki card as it keeps public transport fares separate.

Swanston St-St Kilda Road trams (all routes southbound except route 1) stop at Anzac station. So does bus route 604 that like tram 72 stops in Commercial Road, Prahran a short distance from that eponymous station.

Be aware:

When	From 8.30pm Friday 14 August to last service Sunday 16 August

If say you're from interstate and want to return a myki card, you should be able to obtain a refund (including any unused balance) from a staffed railway station.

Fares are half price until 31 December 2026, so an all-day fare (any travel above two hours) is $5.70 for adults.

I omitted that for interstate arrivals, there are myki machines in the landside at Melbourne T2 international (arrivals level) and also IIRC in the Jetstar T4 terminal, also at arrivals on the ground floor.

Although I was at at least one meeting when penegal was present I unfortunately didn't meet him. I have learnt a lo about him and he obviously was an exceptional fellow. I recently visited the Birds of a Feather thread started by Rooflyer at the suggestion of penegal.
So I hope tonight those present have a wonderful night and the memories and tails overcome any sadness.
