So 3 of the 4 Musketeers who regularly 'workshopped the World's woes' met at OT last Thu nt - first time we have met since we lost our little mate - just wasn't the same and can never be the same again - our hearts will forever grieve.

OK kids I am off to a meeting with OT Mgmt tonight to plan table location and sizing - still 1/2d stragglers who would make life a lot easier if they caught up with the herd.

Pls remember we are not booking out entire restaurant but rather have been allocated a certain area and unused seats will be thrown back into the pond. I need to commit final numbers no later than tomorrow night Aug 7 please.

As a community service and as a mark of respect for our little buddy penegal, the Ette and I ventured into OT last night to discuss table arrangements for 14th with OT Mgmt.

At 8pm OT was basically 100% full which further emphasized the need for our group to confirm final numbers for next week - so please if you have not fully committed by now then please do so.

Whilst there I thought prudent to take 1 for the team and try the 300gm eye fillet on the menu for next week.

Of course a good steak needs to be washed down with a decent red - this one I intended to share very shortly with my little mate but alas that can now not occur - but I am kinda thinking he was watching over us as we enjoyed this last night as talked at length about our visits to OT with penegal



(Note: This was not actual bottle we consumed last night - we did consume same wine from same pack I bought recently but bottle opened last night was whisked away before I could get pic)

It’s very appreciated and having arranged a much smaller dinner in Adelaide on 1 Aug, I’m aware of all the things going on in the background to make it go well. So thank you for your time and commitment.

I’m so sad that whilst I was able to come down for his funeral, I can’t be there at the dinner.

No travel planned as I’m 15 days post surgery. My head wasn’t pretty beforehand but I’m definitely less pretty now.

Please "Off Load" me off your manifest my friend - an unavoidable trip interstate for family reasons has arisen, and tried as I may, there wasn't going to be a way to get back to MEL to make it for this.
