Malaysia Digital Arrival Card and Autogates

I recently entered and departed Malaysia (KLIA) using autogate.
Filled in the MDAC prior to arrival. This MDAC seem longer than SG's version?

The entry process was super quick and simple.
Same thing with the exit, the machines pretty much empty, but the manual counters were extremely crowded. Not sure what's going on there.

KLIA transfer to domestic. They’ve installed the automated gates but it wasn’t operational. The system was still buggy apparently. Tried the Malaysian gates but it won’t work so back to the manual process for me, luckily there was no one in the queue.

This MDAC seem longer than SG's version?
Recently did MDAC, TDAC and SGAC. (Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore)
Probably easier on a laptop but did mine on mobile - mostly due to over use (imho) of drop down boxes.

And would be even better if you could just scan the data strip on passport to quickly enter half the info.

TDAC probably took the longest due to drop downs for state and suburb for your hotel, which didn't quite match up with my TripIt entries.

I note more complaints about MDAC in SMH Travellers letters, but surely this is up to the traveller these days. These electronic entry forms are becoming very common place.

Hopefully Aus brings this out ASAP and we can at least dump some of the stupid two stage entry process, and the every failing pens on planes issue.
