Main issues with Qantas and how they can improve?

The main one for me is when booking via the QFF site it shows J but on the next page it then shows not available mark and goes onto say in the pop up window the leg or flight will be in Y, its so dam annoying if they don't have J then don't have it there.

Never seems to be availability for reasonable points unless booking 10 months to a year out.

I'd also like to see last minute seats available on the QFF site.

Yep. Looked for on departure upgrade. No seats.
Once on the plane 50% of J seats were vacant !

Going to "steal" some of your points madrooster :)

1. Priority baggage hardly works - rare for my bag to be in the first lot out

2. WP/WP1 greeting inconsistency - greeting while seated in 14F on Saturday, Sunday nothing.
3. JQ flights being offered on QF site - If I wanted to book JQ I go to the JQ site.
4. Food in lounges needs to change occasionally - Even if it is 2 different menus, have Menu #1 day 1, Menu #2 day 2, at least it is "rotated".

The refreshment served - on Saturday it was a chocolate salted cookie, 1 large cookie mmmm not much of a refreshment to me !!
Sunday flying back it was maple covered almonds and dried fruit with a 110ml water, a little better but not by much

Travelled in Y on the weekend. Had my first ever CSM and extra attention contact.
Beyond a nice chat though, nothing extraordinary happened.

Like to see a poll on removing the J seats that are non existent with the annoying popup.

Why does there need to be a poll? QF are well aware of the issue, and no one in their right mind advocates it, so the poll would be a tad lopsided...

Maybe a mod could edit the first post to include the issues identified so we don't need to repeat the same issues over and over?
