Made it to Silver

Well done on attaining Silver. I remember getting my Silver Pack a number of years ago. I arrived home after a trip to Europe and my Siver AND Gold packs were both there as I had qualified for Gold during my time away. Double win!

I also just made silver, and it was great to be able to use the Business counter to checkin a bag (which I rarely have, so won't be able to do this much!) when the queues at the quick drop were looong. (As an aside, the internet checkin bag drop- always empty! Shorter queues than Business, if you did the 'net checkin/printout).

Anyway, it went alright, except for the fact I was getting a bit confused from all the recent travel:

(MEL checkin): Where are you travelling today?
(me): Melbourne!
(MEL checkin): Sir, you're in Melbourne. Which flight are you on?
(me): uh... hmmm....

apparently it happens more than you might think...

Well done on getting silver! I remember getting mine, and I was a QP member so no luggage tags either. but i was issued with 2 cards, QP and PS cards. QP has no marking as being a OW Ruby.

:D - Well you could have been going MEL - SYD - MEL in a single day, so technically yes, MEL is where you'd end up, just with a very long connection time in SYD.
