Hi,

I have the problem some of you are mentioning RE: error when trying to login (also cant access jetstar credit card online) and card services still haven't fixed it after 3 calls and waiting over a week. I will ask them for another MAC..

Has anyone got the club vouchers yet? How long did it take after receiving the card?

i did receive mine after 60 days and a follow up call see my earlier post they sent domestic passes instead of international and I will be calling them once I get back
 
my macquarie card account is fixed with the new mac id. still cant log into the jetstar one. they're escalating it again
 
3 day deadline up.
Now they have sent me a new Password, but no access code for new card?
Rang them and escalated, but unable to give me access code?
Still unable to access account.

Please take care working out the QFF points.

In my Feb statement, there was a 25% "discount" from Macquarie i.e fewer points than what it should have been.

When I called today to make an enquiry, I was told..... "Qantas purchase DO NOT attract any bonus points".

When I then pointed out what is on my screen, the operator stated "... that is for current promotion only..."

You will earn 2 Qantas Frequent Flyer points per dollar spent on eligible Qantas products and services in Australia, which are Qantas passenger flights (with a QF flight number) purchased directly from Qantas (i.e. where Qantas, and not its agent, is identified as the merchant on the credit card transaction) and Qantas Club and Qantas Frequent Flyer joining and annual fees.

However, I did have a screen capture of what was on offer at the time of application and he requested me to email it it for verification.

Shocking business !!!!!

You are well advised to double check your points.

I could not think of ONE reason to stay with this ragtag mob after the 25K bonus points.

Edit:

He called back stating that I was not eligible for the QF bonus points as 'it is for selected products' .

The silly thing was he never asked me what QF spend it was.

When pointed out it was for a SYD LAX flight, he then by rote asked 'is that a domestic or international flight'.

Now, what would you do at this point ?

I just gave up.

I am thinking about FOS as it is misleading and deceptive conduct here.

Old access code does not work with new password?
 
Cancelled jetstar well before applying for this one. Got password today, just waiting on mac id and card. Less then a fortnight from applying.

Follwoup phone call by same person as I spoke to yesterday.
Received access code but mailed password used Login FAILED>
They are urgently sending out new password tomorrow(within 24hrs)
See if I can access account tomorrow.

I cancelled the JQ card about 8 weeks back.
Probably shouldn't impact on a new application if I proceed?
 
I know how you feel plant, I have not had Internet access to my card for weeks and only got it working the other day when I cancelled my jetstar card. Big mistake on Macquarie's part...

Wish I had have known that canceling the Jetstar card was enough to fix it. I always had intentions to cancel the Jetstar card before the new annual fee came up and I stopped using it on New Years Eve and cancelled it this week. If I had have known I would have cancelled it earlier and saved the hassle of the phone calls.

What is such poor form from Macquarie is that they haven't fixed the problem and they are still telling customers they need to work it out.

All they need to do is set any new cardholders to have a different number to their Jetstar card or any current cardholders have the solution ready for them. I can't believe they haven't included this in the call centre script. Now that some of us have worked through the problem with them, they should have an almost instant solution, no need for an "investigation"

Just wait until someone intoned to you that (1) there is no such thing as a QF bonus point offer and (2) your card was issued .... before the current offer (when he was directed to his own website to read the current offer).

I am lost for words at the sheer incompetence of Macquarie call centre staff.

It is not even close to Bronze, let alone calling it Platinum.

You must have a sheltered life, I've had some doozeys the last couple of years, US Air and United for start ake our customer service people look good.
 
Well no email or Urgent letter with access code received tody....pft....no surprised
 
To be fair it is only this internet access that has been the problem and only for those of us that have (or in my case had) the Jetstar card.

Otherwise I got the card with a minimum of fuss, activating it was fine, it has always worked, bonus points have accrued as specified, points post almost immediately after the statement is issued and when I was having trouble accessing the site they emailed me a statement and then one came in the post and another came this month. The site is also user friendly once you get access. This week will be 60 days after I activated the card so if I get my Q Club passes this week I would say they have done everything they promised in the initial promotion.

If we weren't trying to use these cards to our best possible advantage and didn't have the Jetstar card to start with (because we got a free bonus there) we would probably be very satisfied with this offer.

But the fact they can't communicate with their call centre the simple fix to the problem is unbelievable.
 
Another day, another call to card services.
My Urgent, take 24hr to get New access code in the mail, has not arrived....told it would when last spoke on the 28th Feb.
Nothing in the mail today.
Now Have digido music while on hold.... beauty mate :/

Edit: Well spoke to CARA(now at the top of pile of stupid service officers)
Told me to login with old access code and second access code that does not work.
Account says Locked now?????
Even though I was told I would receive new access code in the mail, she now says I should have received a new password via email.
Need another new password?
Called me back to inform me this.

At least you guys had your cards approved. I got a knock back from Macquarie today with no explanation as to why " I cannot divulge our lending criteria Sir". I have a good income, a big loan but low to loan to asset ratio ( not that they asked about assets). I've got 3 other cards with 29k limit but nothing on them. I don't get it, any tips anyone? Maybe because I've already got a jetstar card?

Activated card today - no problem - officer spoke english well
I went through the terms and confirmed my QFF
She advised QP passes will be in the mail in 60 days
Advised I had my password but not MAC ID and she gave this to me on the phone - different from my jetstar one I cancelled about 3 wks ago

Internet banking is very easy to navigate if you had the Jetstar one.
Everything appears to be working fine - just going to pay my water bill to see if the points =
Will see if i can hit the $5000 and keep for 11mths
 
Well I have emailed them and another call will follow tomorrow.
Got the new password emailed but account still locked?
The card works fine and have PIN, just cannot access account to transfer money to pay off card or bills via BPAY.........

Matt Omit the loan from application and let them find it out themselves....whoops forgot about it.
