I ticked over about 2 months ago and got the letter - you didn't miss out on much. :-|

Bonus ff points really. The other main advantage is no Y queues but that's a QP benefit. Of course the AA recognition of OW ruby is excellent (priority security and boarding as well as free checked baggage).

It's probably more useful for those flying other OW airlines other than QF.
