There's a letter??

I ticked over LTS earlier this year and didn't receive such a thing.
you probably missed it - only half a page and not very exciting - just congratulations and thank-you for flying Qantas and if you drop from Platinum we will send your card and pack (presumably if I drop from Gold as well!)

A question... with lifetime silver do they send the one complimentary QC pass every year if you actually drop down in status??

We had this discussion once before and I don't think there was anyone who had received the complimentary pass with LTS - would make it a bit more exciting if they did...

You get the benefits for the status level you actually have currently, so no. LTS isn't a "status level" as such, it's just a safety net that stops you ever falling below PS.

Congratulations: Silver is quite useful on non QF-Flights: Better seating, Business-Class Checkin, some Airlines offer Fast Lane (AA or AB), some offer Priority Boarding (AA, BA).
So mostly everything you need except Lounge Access.

I still have a few points till LTG but I am on my way.
