Hello all,
Travelling to Berlin later this year with Cathay Pacific and Finn Air. From Perth, via Hong Kong and Helsinki.
I'm Silver QFF, and also QP member. Can l get into the QP in Hong Kong (few hours transit), even though l am flying with Cathay and Finn Air? They are both OneWorld so l am thinking that it shouldn't be a problem.
But getting into Helsinki won't be possible as l'm only Silver and you need QFF Gold status....l'm pretty sure.

Cheers.

Assume you are flying Y (Economy) - otherwise you will have access based on class of ticket.

In HKG you will be limited to the QF lounge, missing out on the far superior CX lounges.
In HEL no dice

Yeah, thought so.
And in Berlin nothing on the way home either.
Oh well, that's life l guess.

No, a Qantas Club member can only use a Qantas Club lounge when flying with Qantas. Since the OP is flying with CX and AY, they will not have any lounge access.

Qantas Club provides access to Qantas, BA and AA lounges when departing on a QF, BA or AA flight respectively.

Lookon the bright side - you might become a Gold after all this travel!

i wish. My SC's get reset on 30th of November and l still have to get another 500 for gold before then. And this flight is on the 18 December. looks like l'm stuffed either way. And work isn't flying me Qantas alot these days either.

$2000 including taxes. I snapped it up when l saw it. Perth/Hong Kong/ Helsinki/Berlin. Not bad l think.

You would miss very little anyway. I was there a few weeks ago when travelling in J & the lounge is nothing fancy. Small, very limited food options & burnt coffee from a machine and smokers ignoring non-smoking sign for early morning flight.
