I originally booked a J AAdvantage redemption award SYD-PER-BRM. The flight has changed to Y for the PER- BRM sector. Does anyone one know if I will still have Qantas lounge access during the transit in PER?

Thanks Brains Trust

With no status I think not.

Check the lounge meets thread perhaps.

(BTW it is BME for Broome.)

Has the whole flight from PER-BME changed to Y or just your seat on it! If it's the latter I would seek an appropriate response or look at a date change if that suits you. Could you also accept travel via MEL?

QF seems to have changed all the PER-BME to the B717 without J. Can't change the date unfortunately due to hotel/cruise bookings. Thought about via MEL but that would have meant B737 all the way. At least I'll get the A330 to PER. Will see if the threat of a grown man crying outside the lounge will have any effect....

Always worth a try. I have sometimes found lounge staff can be very helpful on these occasions.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I had the exact same thing happen to me a while ago (AAdvantage J redemption with Y for the PER-BME sector). I was denied entry to the J lounge in Perth.
