Anyone lost/misplaced a Wish gift card and been able to have the value refunded?

I used a Wish card last night on 2 purchases and it had ~$86 left and gave it to my father to use next time he goes shopping. In the next couple of hours the Wish gift card has disappeared from his pocket. :(

I do not have the card number as I did not keep the receipts when I purchased it, I do know when I purchased the gift card and have the receipt of last use. I also remember the PIN number but without the card number the PIN number is useless.

If there was someway of getting the card number I could at least use it online.

I have read the terms and conditions and they say they are not responsible but they do investigate lost/stolen gift cards. I am not hopeful but sending an email would not hurt.

I sent off email yesterday to everydaygiftcards.com.au and they requested further information.

Today I scanned the receipts and send another email and got a response not long after with the history for my Wish gift card.

Unfortunately the $88.45 were spent at Big W Bankstown on 06 July at 9:41am. The card was lost sometime after 05 July at 10:23pm at either Campsie or Belmore Leagues Club. So whoever found it knew exactly what they were doing and spent it immediately.

Oh well. Good to know that it is possible to trace for the future.

So you waited more than 3 weeks after the 1st post before you did anything? Seems you got excellent service with an answer straight away-thats a very positive thing :)

I was in Thailand for 2 weeks and then forgot the receipts in Sydney when I arrived back in Brisbane last week.

I guess that is what happens when you are always rushing to be somewhere....
