= Flight BA280 is operated by British Airways

Also, my Google summary for "flight departure details BA280" (without quotes) has it leaving T4 so I guess that is official. 🤣
The trick then is to confirm the departure gate number and follow the signs.
TBIT transit security (it is landside).
Technically, but isn’t there a one way exit to the left(?) that is landslide landslide, and to the right thru a door / entry for security?
One caveat is this although it should be open at the time of the Qantas arrival, sometimes there a gatekeeper who wants to see a Qantas or AAmerican Boarding Pass.
OP’s daughter is flying in on QF, so should be fine. Last time I passed thru, we were connecting to AS. No drama going thru transfer security and then working our way down the lounges…😉

Trust me, she will be heading to the lounge!!!!! I presume it is BA? Or is it AA for a QF booked journey with a BA transit?

Lounge options are QF/OW F or J or AA Flagship or Admirals Club (or even AS at a pinch) - depends on status/class of travel.

Hmm She is Gold but this trip is in Economy and not official. Also a paid up member of QANTAS Club
AA FS would be the go. Rather unique perk for OWS (same for a J ticket AFAIK).
