Looks like QF/EK Alliance isn't working for QF. Europe now via London not DXB.

Well, at least that's a better outcome than people got when they dropped CD to a number of routes.

Can't find any announcement of this on the Qantas Industry Sales site.

Edit. Just read the article posted by the OP. Wonder if they were talking to my TA? She tells me more-or-less exactly what's quoted in the article.

They promise I will still get earn for this flight ... don't know about the rest of the flights in that they should still earn at the old rates as booked last Nov. Qantas say I can follow up if not posted as expected.

But I now "travel as an Emirates passenger" instead (!)

I'm not sure what are all the implications of that, maybe an increased probability of op-up;)

What part of 'shove off' don't you understand? ;)

Just to get back on topic, I don't have any charts or statistical analysis to prove my point, but I do find that I see more BA flights showing up on QF.com lately than during the QF/EK honeymoon period.

If this revised 'BA tie up' could be expanded a little further, maybe we could get our QF PER-SIN service back.

I would book PER-SIN-LHR on QF/BA over the current EK alternative any day. The EK 77W J product is woeful.

And the ten across whY is just painful!!

Yep. Got the email last week:

I had actually noticed the week before when I was checking the seat assignments but the booking had been locked to changes and when I called they confirmed that FCO codeshares have been removed as well.

I have three forward bookings to/from MXP/FCO, all of which are booked under the QF code (mostly QF8206/QF8205). None of these have changed and after having spoken to the Premium Desk just now they are not aware of the removal of QF code from MXP/FCO. As noted above, it hasn't been published on the industry site either. I wonder if there was something specific to your booking which triggered it?

Update: all of the MXP and FCO flights on QF code are still very much bookable, both through the QF website and via other OTAs.

All I can think of is that qantas had exhausted it's allocation of seats to Rome for that period.

Flying which QF flight PER-SIN? For me, CX to HKG is the only viable route to Europe now in OneWorld.

So no more SCs for you on the DXB-MXP/FCO segments? I would call QF and ask to be rerouted via LHR.

Original routing credit would work but interesting there are no SCs earned on Emirates flight numbers. Is that right?
