Has anyone inadvertently booked a "long stay rate" without knowing it, and then not been awarded Hhonors points / eligible nights?
I booked 6 nights at a Hilton (I won't mention it yet, whilst I figure out how to resolve this) and have noticed there are no points in my Hhonors account a couple of weeks later. In fact, whilst the booking showed in my Hhonors account before the stay, there is no reference to it at all in my account anymore.
I pulled out the receipt to enter the details into the Missing Stay form on the HHonors site, and I notice down the bottom it says in small writing (maybe 8 point) "Please note our long stay rates are not eligible for Hhonors points." Of course, I did not notice this when checking out.
There is no reference to a long stay rate on my booking, so I am not sure if this has been deemed a long stay rate, or that text is always written there by this hotel.
I will be disappointed if it doesn't work out, as this stay would have taken me over the re-qualification requirement for Gold for 2014.
I will have to wait one month for the Missing Stay to be processed, but hopefully that credits the points and eligible nights to my account. Does anyone have a better idea for how to follow this up? Is it worth a call after a few days to follow up the Missing Stay form?

I can't really help with the question, however I would have thought 6 nights was hardly a long stay ?

That's what I think too. Thanks for the feedback.
