If you want champagne in a lounge Sofitel City Centre pours champagne Colette
The bathtub is a nice change from the typical western-style rectangle. It reminds me of a giant noodle bowl!Looks like a nice bathtub and bath. Any pictures of the local town you went exploring from the hotel through the direct entrance?

Only you can determine if the price is worth it.A question for those that have stayed at Fairmonts, specifically Tokyo - Im platinum and have 2x suite night upgrades. Looking at booking for 5-6nights over NYE and trying to figure out options for rooms as it will have to be 2 separate bookings to use the SNU.
SNU will be before the year end, so for the NYE booking I have options of Tokyo Tower View, Signature Skyline View or Gold Tokyo Tower view. Gold is the only room type that provides lounge access.
Question - Is it worth paying the premium for Gold and getting the lounge, especially with a 7yr daughter? Im thinking it would/could be a nice way to see in the new year?

Decks and probably more so desks for work are increasingly becoming a design feature that gets left out in modern hotel design. Two main reasons I wouldn't stay here again. No proper deck so uncomfortable for doing work.

We've had the end pool access room before. It's really nice and private.Property: Sofitel Nusa Dua

Probably our favourite Accor property. Sofitel Bali Nusa , love the place and staff just know how to look after without going overboard.
We had an amazing suite last stay, but I wanted to try the pool access room.
Booked the base rate and were upgraded 4 levels to the pool access room. They actually like to look after returning guests. Was so thankful.
Last stay we only had breakfast in our room so this time was keen to try the buffet and lounge offerings.
First morning at the buffet and we were there not long after opening. Selected a few things, sausages and bacon. Returned to our seat and the food were already cold.
The saving grace is the Noodle station. Selecting local ingredients and noodles and they cook in front of you, very nice. Wasn’t busy but was later on.
Second morning in the lounge and Al a carte and was nice. Third morning I stopped by the noodle station and then straight up to the lounge.
We enjoyed the afternoon tea which we missed last visit. Evening canapés seemed to be a little less offerings then I remember but more than sufficient and was never overcrowded. We preferred to sit in one of the rooms where it’s a little more quiet.
We spent tooo much time at the swim up bar, had lunch there each day.
Burned all the Diamond 100 euro vouchers at checkout
Returning next August in high season and have booked here again and have the end pool access room blocked for us by the lovely manager.
Weather has been perfect, overcast, not too humid and only a shower this morning. — at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua.
