Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Does anyone know if MH are now providing mattresses (similar to what QF does) to give extra padding on the business class seats on their A380 and A330?
In J you just get a slip cover for the seat (so the sleeping surface is smoothed out).

That's good to hear. I'll have to ask them for the slip on covers next time I'm in J with them.

Not sure if they still hand out PJs. If they do, get a size bigger than your usual. i.e. get XL if you usually take L.

They were already placed on the seat along with the pillow and blanket at boarding. This was on all four sectors of my SYD-KUL-CDG-KUL-SYD trip.

I hope they provide this for my SYD-KUL-LHR-KUL-SYD trip in October.

They only give out PJs in F. Never known them to give PJs in J.

Was given two (second, on request) last Sep LHR-KUL on A380.

You were very lucky then! :)
I fly twice a year to LHR/CDG with them in J and have been doing so for the past 4 years, and I have never been offered PJs in J. Only got them on my one time in F.

Any recent experiences with MH selling cheap upgrades at check-in? My cousins flying MEL-KUL-LHR//AMS-KUL-MEL in a month in Y and a TA friend said the loads should be fairly light and he could pay 'between $300-$400 for the Australian legs and slightly more for the European legs' at check-in to upgrade to J. Another friend paid I think $450 MEL-KUL to upgrade a few months back.

Any idea as to amounts? I know MH isn't a brilliant J but for these amounts it seems cheaper than buying AA miles?

I know KL to Europe was around 1500 last month at KL airport. Not as cheap as people think

Thanks anna. I assume you mean AUD1500? That would seem about right for LHR or CDG as an A380 flight - its about 3 x the price of an Australian upgrade - the flight is about twice as long and then they could factor in the 'A380 factor'.

He's taking the old MH17 flight which I guessing will be extremely lightly loaded. It might be better to hope he can get a row of 3 seats to himself in Y.
