Hi everyone, hoping someone can help.
I am travelling with my partner on our honeymoon from LHR to SYD in October. We are travelling with British Airways and go via Bangkok on the way out and Singapore on the way home.

Due to the special occasion we have booked Business Class but unsure on a few points (I have looked on the BA website and forums but cant find the answers!)

* How long do you get at Bangkok and Singapore? Do you have time to go to the lounge and refresh?

* Do you get access to the lounges if you are going via that Airport?

* Do they have showers at the Lounges to use?

* Any other advise you think we should know?

Appreciate any help with this and thank you in advance to anyone who has done this trip and can help!

Welcome to AFF Gloryhornet25!

If on BA0009 outbound you should have 2:50 at BKK - though I've nver transitted throuhg the 'new' airport there I daresay that'll be heaps of time for shower/drink/relax.

And if on BA0016 on the way back then 1:25 at SIN. May be a minor problem with shower availability - they are certainly there, but it may be a busy time

If travelling in business you do get access to the business lounges at BKK and SIN - have not been in the BKK one, but I reckon the SIN one is just fine.

There are showers available at both BKK and SIN

Enjoy your flight and honeymoon!

Thanks for the useful information, appreciate it!

Glad we have time to refresh ourselves in between flights.

If anyone has some useful tips - for the flights not the marriage :) then please let me know.

Thanks again

Are you enrolled (both of you) in a oneworld FF program? If not, do so.

At the moment, free QFF membership if you enrol via woolworths everydayrewards.

Enjoy!

Hi Glory
if you have enough front (tell them its your honnymoon!)then ask the crew to give you some of the pjs from first .They are comfy to sleep in and allow you to keep your clothes fresh for the whole trip.
If you have even more front and have success with the pjs then the Pol Roger vintage from first is truely magnificant.
Have a great trip
Cheers Danger UXB

And if your want to meet some of these people giving you excellent gratuitous advice, arrange a meeting in SYD with some from this Forum. Aussies are known to be partial to a pint of four - particularly some of those on this Forum that I know well...

Then we can give you some wedding & honeymoon advice :)

Thanks for everyone's advise and I will look into the one world program.

After I have flown, I will make sure I pop back to help anyone new, with questions that I can provide any info on my experience.

Geez Lindsay, anyone would think we were a bunch of beer swelling, pie eating, short wearing, oops, just realised what I am saying....

OK, we are a bunch of beer swelling, pie eating, short wearing darn friendly, caring and nice people and would be guaranteed to offer advice on marrige, football (the aussie type - go saints), surfing and fishing.
