I started a spreadsheet last year of my completed flights.

The criteria was they had to earn status or mileage or be international. For example, I have not counted myriad of REX flights I have taken nor have I counted JETSTAR except Jetflex (Y) fares, but have counted Easyjey, Ryan, Valueair and Asia.

I estimate I have flown 16 flights with REX and 12 with non earning JQ flights, and 4 with Skywest over the ~2 year period.

Due to not always having return flights, I have counted each flight as an individual flight rather than return flights, for example, even though on one booking, MEL/SYD/BNE/KTA/PER/MEL counts as 6 flights.

Playing with the sort fields in excel surprised me at my results:

Spreadsheet: Start 01-01-09 to 31-12-10 (so not quite complete).

Code:
Number of flights since 01/01/09 - 231

Number of Domestic flights - 197
Number of International flights - 34

Number of routes flown since 01/01/09 - 84

Most flown route MEL/SYD - 22

Number of routes flow once only - 59
Number of routes flown more than 5 times - 12

I am interested in seeing others flight details (if any) - I was mainly surprised at how many single routes I have taken over this period, and I have not done any exotics like Emerald or Blackwater during this time that I normally associate with singles.

I don't have those details in that form (other than what's in my ba97 log), but my flying habits are fairly boring. I normally fly the same route WGA-SYD-BNE-SYD-WGA every second week, with the occasional trip up to MKY or more rarely to NTL.

I did have a chuckle to see the word "exotic" in the same sentence as Emerald and Blackwater. I've spent a fair bit of time in that part of the world (and lived in Clermont for 2 years) :)

According to My FlightMemory (in my signature), my top airport over the years has been BNE and my top route CHC-BNE. That being said, I’m still sorting through old boarding passes and such from when I was much younger. I’m only down to flights of about age 8.

For this year I’ve taken 30 flights (including future flights).

Most of my travel is international...

Singapore, over 100 visits
Mumbai, over 40 visits
LAX/Silicon Valley, over 100 visits

This is since i joined QFF, which was 1991...Also, years of living in Asia pre-Asian Financial crisis when the going was very very good.

Off to coughet tomorrow, via Singapore.

That was why I chose 01-01-09 for a start date to avoid the forgotten flights. I wish I had of started keeping track of my average number of flights per year back in 1998 when I first started really traveling for work on a weekly basis. I have had much busier years than the last 2 but short of pestering QF for past history, it would be too hard to keep track!

IIRC you can ask them for your entire past history with them, for 2500 points. If you’ve mainly flown with them then you’d see it all, if you haven’t then it’s probably not worth it.

I've now got all my flights put into FlightMemory. it took some time but I got a lot of the old flight numbers for AN etc. but every flight since 2006 has all details logged.

I will compile some stats..

My most recent flights have mostly been to CNS or DRW as the most popular, before the last few years it would have been Perth and Sydney while Singapore would have been th emost 5 years ago with around 50 trips.

Markis, you should let me know next time you're in CNS and we can take advantage of QP anytime access ;)

No problems, I wasted three hours there on Thursday, do wish the catering would improve. Will PM you next time I am there.

Ive flown 57 flights in 2010 so far, totaling 109290 miles. only 9 of those were domestic flights in Australia. 21 of the flights involved BKK as either a departure or destination point, and I'm here in BKK now. Top 5 routes are HKG-BKK, BKK-MEL, SIN-MEL, SIN-BKK and MEL-SIN with 3 each. Will fly home BKK-MEL tonight making it my most traveled route for the year. Most flown airline is Singapore Airlines @ 16 sectors, with Thai Airways and American Airlines @ 11 each for equal 2nd and 3rd. will be flying Thai tonight to make it outright 2nd.

Apart from my home location of SYD, MEL is most frequented domestically, and SIN internationally.

Strangely enough ADL and SYD. Live in Adelaide, work in Sydney. After that would be OLP. The QP there isn't much chop. They let anyone in. No food and you have to pay for drinks. At least you don't have to tip a vending machine. ;)

Sole international is NRT

Slow domestic year so far, international 3 trips to Brussels with stops in BKK in the last 5 months. Couple of Melbournes an Adelaide and a Brisbane as domestic.

I lost my USB with my travel in 2006/2007/2008 :(

Sine then my travel has really dipped despite hitting WP PG this qualification year (two long haul flights credited that shouldn't have...)

My flights are mostly SYD-MEL-SYD about every 6 weeks now...

I keep a spreadsheet with my flight details, right down to seat numbers .

Since 1-1-09, I've flown 122 sectors.
34 domestic (all transit to international terminals),
88 international.

Most common dom. - ADL-SYD/SYD-ADL; 20
Most common international destinations - HKG; 10, LAX; 7, ICN; 6, SIN; 6

Total miles; 309,103 miles
Total hours BIS; 755 hrs

Doh!

I back up a USB every week or two and certainly before any trip; have been doing this for 3 years.

I have not lost it as yet; but have had some close calls.
