Hi all,
Hopefully this hasn't already been posted.
National Geographic are just about to release a doco on aircraft titled " Living in the age of Airplanes" which looks pretty damn impressive! I'm assuming it's a documentary looking at the history of flight and how aircraft are now used around the world. A lot of the trailer seems to include beautiful scenery so it's possibly just the producers attempting to write-off some travel as a work expensive, but it looks great none the less. :)

Apparently it'll be released in cinemas although I'll be waiting for it on iTunes (can't imagine Wollongong Cinema showing it... :) ).

Still no mention of Australia. Fortunately I'll be in the US in Aug/Sept (actually plan to visit Seattle to see the Boeing factory) so plan to see it then.

Has anyone seen it?
I saw it in Seattle after returning from a tour at the Boeing factory (it was an aero themed few days!)
It was OK although I would have liked a little more aviation footage. Essentially it looks at how human beings have travelled across the world over the last few thousand years and ends with how aircraft have dramatically changed this. Wonderful footage, but again, I'd have liked to have seen a few more aircraft (I guess I'll have to search Youtube for 747 takeoffs...) :)

Hope it comes to Australia...
