Linking Velocity number to SQ reward booking

Hi there. I have transferred some velocity points to kris flyer to secure a reward seat on SQ.

I keep trying to change my FF number to my velocity number in my booking but it never sticks. Always reverts back to my Kris Flyer number. Anyone know how else I can change it?

I am Platinum with Velocity and want my status to appear on my boarding pass to avail of the benefits.

I was able to change my KF number to my VFF number as part of the online check in process for my award flight at the start of the month.

I note that it did not show my actual VFF status however. It did not matter in my case as I was travelling in J.

Is waiting for online check-in the only way? My flight not until Christmas Day and would like lounge access but wouldn't want to lose sest allocation.

I have done it several times but only by calling. The online function never works. Takes 5 minutes by phone to SQ.
