Does anyone know of a lightning tracker I can see results for 1500 to 1700 yesterday for 2170 area of NSW?

Thanks, I really need it as insurance is claiming no lightning in my area, but I have 3 blown up tvs, blown up phones, router, exploded light bulbs, smoked desktop computer... The assessor is allegedly coming this AM. Thanks

I don't know the rules in NSW, but isn't it an issue that can be taken up with the distributor?

Obviously Mal Wear can't get the large image for me - so if anyone can possibly decipher weatherzone and get a lightening image from Tuesday, I would be eternally grateful

Hi mate

Failing a lightning map, try to see if there is a clear point of lightning entering the property. The assessor will try to find this when he comes to visit.

Also, speak to your electricity provider to see if they have any record of a surge entering the property (I think they store this information).

Good luck!

EDIT: The above will help when trying to prove the claim with the insurer

THe lightning hit the ground about 500 meters away - the earth potential rose causing most houses in the neighbourhoods RCD aka safety switch to operate. Mine wasn't fast enough by the looks or it may well be I copped an extra dose of the good news as I have 3 phases into the house. I am nearly over it with AAMI as well.

Hi, sorry I did try to blow it up but was not able to do so.

Do you want to give me a more specific location like a particular suburb and I will see if I can get that, if not i will try and email the original to you tomorrow.

Edit; The picture I am posting is a fairly big size, I think 106kb and is much more readable that what is showing here once uploaded, it seems to be shrinking it, is there a way for me to upload the picture in its original size?
