What is to stop the bricks from walking?

I can imagine this will be an Virus and bacteria cesspit

Last time we went to a Legoland somewhere can't remember 20 something years ago, there was a section where you were given 4 wheels on entry and the section had open access to standard bricks so you could build a race car that you could roll down an incline. The trick was to continue iterating the build to make it faster. Not surprisingly the dads basically took over the place and I had a very fast car. On exit, you had to give the wheels back. The bricks were all general bricks and not worth much but the wheels were.
