Hi Guys.

I am after a bit of Inside knowledge here for a flight I need next week.

I need to go to Portland from LAX for a day.

I notice that AA use ALASKAN AIRLINES  (renowned for bad maintenance), for this flight.

1. Do I collect status points if I am QFF
2. If I can get status points can I fly anyone else but Alaskan!
3. If I cannot get staus points who is a good airline to use for this flight.

as always all help apreciated.

BTW the beach here at malibu is very Noice!!.:D.free wifi from the beach is working a treat!.

Thanks

Pog.

Fly on the AA Codeshare flight number and you will earn Points and SC's.

Fly on the AS flight number on AS metal and you will earn points but no SC's.

More here: Airline Earning Table (See each entry under Alaskan and then American Airlines®)
