LAX check-in time for QF11 to JFK

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone knows what time bag drop is available for QF 11 Los Angeles to New York

I’m currently wide-awake in my hotel room and thought I might as well go to the airport is that a sleeping for a couple hours

Sadly the lounge doesn’t open until 6:30 AM but at least I’ll be at the door ready to enter

Website states checkin open at 6am for flight to NY.

Check-in opened at 5:55 but tsa didn’t open until 6:30 so I proceeded through terminal 8

FWIW, TBIT transit security (downstairs) was open when I last went through that early (6:10am).

You’re correct, terminal 4. I beat everyone who checked in after me to the lounge hehe

Horror! Yes!
Yes, off plane 6am, through immigration/customs 6:08am. At QF First Lounge door 6:15am - to find it did not open 'til 6:30am.

Oh yes I can remember having to wait at those doors
There was a few of us.
I do wonder how scarey it would be to walk down the small hallway to know you may get trampled
