Launceston Qantas Club - New closing time

A friend of mine has just visited the Launceston Qantas Club and was denied access as they now close at 5. She was flying on JQ744, the 18:25 flight. I've checked the website that states the lounge opening hours as 5:30 to last departure. There is no reference to which airlines last departure and clearly states JQ flight as eligible for access. She is a gold FF. I've travelled on the same fligh without any issue. Does anyone know if this is a recent change?

And just to add, the lounge is not staffed and the Hobart Qclub does the same thing however the website does state last Qantas flight.

That's because QF have been reading AFF and all the complaints about JQ not being charged for QP access when QP and status holding members are travelling on JQ, thereby distorting the profitability of JQ and QF .

They run a minimum of 4 a day which is pretty good for a regional port. Can bump up to 6 in super peaks like Xmas/Easter.

Just got confirmation from my friend that the change kicked in last week. Last QF flight departs at 5 so she was dealing with JQ staff who advised this is the only regional lounge that stayed open so they are just moving to be the same as the rest of oz.
