Latest Qantas Business Amenity - Looks and Feels so Cheap

I asked for one last time but didn't bother this time. They didn't even hand out slippers unless you asked (not even offered).

This had been the case with SQ business for well over a decade ...

No wonder it's hard to design a seat for all. Back sleeper though? It was the HNL flight where all the amenity kits were left behind.

I sleep on my front and at 6’3, qantas has one of the only beds that’s long enough to comfortably allow that.

For side sleeping I find the side of the aircraft and specific seat (against the aisle or window) can make a big difference on whether I hit the seat or not! For me that’s the right side of the plane… all sorts of trouble on the left!

Have you tried the QF J cabin on the 787-9? Not impressed at all. I ended up trying to sleep reclined as the flat seat had me bumping the infrastructure trying to get comfortable. I can't sleep on my back.

Yea, I’ve flown it many times. I love it. I sleep on my side, I found it great.

Eau de toilette is watered down perfume. If you want a scent to last the day always use eau de perfume.

Ive not kept any of the recent QF amenities kits, gifted some and left most behind, with the exception of toothpaste when my luggage was delayed never really use the contents. I am using the AY and BA amenity zip bags aka pencil cases for organising bits and bobs.

I got 4 out of 4 amenities kits on QR. Same as Mrsdrron got. Two of the flights were between DOH and Europe.
Didn’t think the QR food or service was anything special. I would still use them over QF though.

Actually, now you mention it, I was on the left side on the way over and kept bumping into the frame. On the way back I was on the right and though it was because I didn't go lie flat to get more comfortable but perhaps it was the side not the seat incline making the difference.

I really didn't think (want) my post about amenity kits was going to a headline though....
