On arrival I found they wanted me to leave at 1420 and spend 3 hours in the lounge. Instead I moved to the next flight and stole a shadow.

Now have a wifi plane home.

The KLIA lounge crawl is still going!

(technically it’s the next day, but it’s less than 24 hours and on the same ticket. Does it count? :) )

One more as yet unvisited KLIA lounge, with pics, coming up shortly ...

You got 4 sticks. Are you some VIP? Normally its only 3 sticks:cool:
Hahaha, I have flown mh business (short haul, mostly kul-sin) a few times and this was the first time satay sticks have been offered. I was stuffed from the lounge visits but couldn’t say no.

Just landed back into Heathrow. Was a lovely weekend so thanks to all involved.

Very interesting experience re qf36. I thought I was last to leave SIN until I heard the news! Shame you were kept onboard so long otherwise could have met for one final drink.

Finally got back to Brisbane and had some arrivals J/QP + used my PP membership for lunch at Graze Bar.

Now stuck in traffic to the Gold Coast!

I would like to know who got the most sectors travelled prize
BNE-xSYD-oMNL-oKUL-xSIN-xMEL-BNE for me.

I think I visited 24 lounges/bars all up along the whole journey.

That was an excellent few days catching up with folk. Thanks especially to Jess

Grateful to QF who accomodated me on QF38 so made my connection

Creates an interesting situation for me. For those on the first attempt at QF36 the points posted whilst still on the ground. I also have points posted for QF38 but the J-F upgrade points have not been returned. When the MH flights post and the DSC come through for the QF flights (if the DSC are applied to both QF36 and 38... not a given) I will hit 3600 SC's!

So you got SC for both QF36 and QF38?

I think that we had 17 attend the 2019 KUL-SIN lounge run. One more than the previous highest of 16 we had in HKG in 2016.

We have all spent time in lounges in various places around the world, but this lounge run is only possible when we all come together. So thank you to everyone who made the effort (conscious or otherwise ;)) to come along and enjoy the day.

It was great catching up with everyone. Even if it was for an extended time in the QF lounge!

And I already have my thinking cap on for 2020.

@JessicaTam thanks for organising a great weekend and waiting around to help me with the family pooling allowance ;) . Arrived back in SA around 2:30pm, quick trip home swapped the INT setup for DOM now back in the VA lounge for my next flight.

Also as MrsM was checking off the shopping list there was only a fleeting comment that the new checked luggage looked better than previous. I am not convinced she knows what Rimowa is other than she would like the blue set ;):)

I will be back for next years annual lounge crawl.

Anyway great to meet you all when I finally caught up in SIN :D

(@trippin_the_rift sorry I somehow missed you?!!)

Anyway as the interloper to the group but having known a few of you from previous meets I was glad to join in. Even more glad with the QF36 situation unfolded as that extra long delay was made so much better hanging out, chatting in the lounge and sharing war stories, history lessons, a few drinks and the snacks the staff brought around.

It was a lot of fun overall and I really enjoyed myself as much as one can in that kind of situation.

So thanks for letting me tag on to the group !! :D

By the way (and I will mention this in the appropriate thread) here's a QF disconnect for you...

As I mentioned last night in the lounge 36 actually pushed me over to P1 requal .. this afternoon I got an email from the SST as a congrats for that - which was quicker than they usually manage. Anyway in it the SST member noted "Since it's a public holiday I won't bother you with a phone call..." - seems ironic that they somehow did not put two and two together and note I was on the delayed flight.....
