Book your MASAs now while they last.

Plan for an early start at KUL, chili crab lunch in SIN followed by evening departures from SIN to wherever your imagination takes you or alternatively wherever you need to be on Monday.

Awesom Andy is hereby put in charge of nominating the lunch venue in SIN :p

Never thought I would see a KUL airport lounge run, hotel run yes but airport lounge ????

I'm IN!
Just an idea, if we start from KUL, we could consider doing the battle of the chilli crabs and satay-KUL vs SIN. :D

No contests for satay - I'm putting all my money on KUL!
Those over-nighting in KUL can (and should) visit Jalan Alor on the night before. :)

And I'm definitely in on this... it's my own backyard after all. :D

Depending on numbers, I can also organise a shuttle bus to/from the airport in SIN for the lunch. Either way, allow for $80 SGD (roughly $70 AUD) for a seafood lunch including chilli crabs plus an alcoholic beverage, and transport to/from the airport. Costing is to the generous side of things so there should be no surprises at the end unless we choose drink excessively. :)

Sounds like a great idea. My fiancee and I are definitely interested.

I am not too keen on flying MH again but no other possibilities that I can see. And as we will be returning to BKK we will more than likely be on the MH late night departure from SIN back to KUL.

Not a fan of chilli crab or satay but I am sure my fiancee will be interested so I may come along for the ride (and another stamp in passport) anyway.

Consider yourselves added.

I'm also adding JessicaTam :p
Methinks I am getting a reputation.

I will probably stay at HH KUL and commute, which will mean I miss the EK lounge.

I am happy to book MH. There a few flights to choose from:

0915-1020
1200-1255
1340-1435
1545-1640

There are a couple of MH codeshare flights operated by SilkAir. As long as that gets you lounge access in KUL that is. :?:

great idea but a year away?? :(
mASAs can no longer be booked from the end of this month, so it may well be a last chance for some. We thought it would be a good idea to set the place/date as early as possible so those who wished to use the last of their QF points could.

Not sure. We will need lounge access in KUL and SIN so it will have to be MH flight.

I am thinking of staying 1 night in each Hilton property in KUL.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Thanks for the clarification re the MH codeshare.

JohnK, I stayed at both last week, and whilst the HH KUL DT is very pleasant, the HH is much easier to get to, and a notch up in quality.

There are three properties in KL, PJ has a Hilton thats best left for visits where you need to be in PJ.

The DT wins for me because of its food hall at B2 where lunch can be had for $3 from locals and the supermarket with alcohol. Alcohol around Sentral is very hard to buy.

Add me to the copper list.

Given I was in SIN this year and actually saw Jessica, I guess I might have some chance of attending next year :p

Andy - Dempsey Hill or Kallang?
