Will be having a quick stop in Kuala Lumpur arriving on a Wednesday evening at 20:40. One thing that Kuala Lumpur, and I guess, Asian cities are famous for are their night markets, and a little research has told me that one of the best ones at Taman Connaught is on Wednesday nights. Alas, should have researched this before booking flights, but it's too expensive to change now...
Given that even in the most optimistic scenario, I'd probably not get to the hotel until 22:00, with the market around another 20 minutes away or so by taxi, do any locals or frequent visitors think it's worthwhile trying to visit? The Internet says the market opens until 01:00, but not sure if this is theoretical with most stalls packed up by then or if there is stuff worth seeing (and eating) around 23:00?
Questions for those in the know - would you bother rushing, or just go to sleep and forget about it? If it matters, there's nothing important I have to do the next day (or the day after that...), so sleep isn't exactly a priority.
