Krisflyer redemption ticket - link Velocity Platinum

Looking to book a Krisflyer Y redemption for a short trip to SIN, and wondering if it's possible to add a Velocity Platinum to a Krisflyer redemption ticket, so I can get a lounge access in SIN (and J check-in counter access).

All my previous KF redemptions has been either J or F, and get lounge access from the tickets.

Has anyone done this before?

Bring your membership card with you and the staff at check-in can remove all frequent flyer data and add velocity to the ticket. You shouldn't run into any problems.
