Just found these photos on the Qantas Facebook page in relation to Australia Gifting 4 koala's to the the Singapore Zoo, celebrating 50 years of Singapore's independence.

I'll have to say that Koala is quite a poser for the camera :)

So this has got me thinking when do the Cats get their own class to travel in?

We are after, amongst the 'coolest' of the animal species are we not?

I thought that the Koaka was in a 330 J class seat.
Window shades are down so can't see if plane actually flying if not eh?

Maybe.
Could also be even on one of my beloved old 767s though.
Edit: first photo, behind the FA, it's the divider between 737 Y and J.
Can't be a 717.
Great spotting!!!.
737 it is.

There are other ways to tell it's not flying. That grey thing on the seat is a dead give away. An unrestrained wild animal at 30000 feet, I think not.

Is that a reconfigured A330 economy seat?

It is definitely not an economy seat.

Appalling. Koala is not wearing shoes and has feet all over the seat. Inappropriate attire for business class !! :-)

It is a Boeimg 737 800 and I would go so far as to say it is a BSI aircraft and relatively new. Look at the first and second picture and you will see the tell tale blue lights of the BSI then look at the curtains dividing J to Y indicating three rows of J I believe this is unique to the 737. Also look at the elliptical shape in the center of the isle, again a clear indication of a 737 800 BSI. :)

Bad advert for QF if it makes people think that's what their F class offering is...

Its not Qantas they don't mention anything on FB its down to pure poor bad reporting.

It's not First class, nor is it a hot towel. If you look closely, our little furry friend is being offered bespoke Qantas pjs! All part of the #KoalaClass service. ;)

Exactly this is First Class

At least they didn't (more like couldn't :o) put their little feet on the bulkhead.

Pi** take, wonder if the marsupial got access to the QP or the international J lounge... edit: more so the international J lounge, seeing its going J international.

Sorry to bump this thread, but I wanted to share an update on our favourite koalas.

They landed in Brisbane today following a successful diplomatic mission in Singapore - flying #koalaclass of course! :)
