Possibility I might have to stopover in KL Mar 29.

If I arrive KL 22:45 what time could I reasonably expect arrive Shangri-La - sitting in pointy end with APEC card.

Thanks in advance.

Which Shangri-La? The one in KL or Putrajaya?

Assuming you are arriving from a long haul flight. You will have to get the aerotrain to the customs and immigration area. That should take 5-10 minutes.

Provided you have filled out your arrival card already it should take 5 minutes to get through. From what I recall first/business class and apec card holders use the same lanes anyway.

If you have carry on only then maybe another 5 minutes to clear customs and walk through to the taxi rank. If you have checked in luggage it is a bit harder to predict, sometimes priority luggage tags work, sometimes they don't. Best case your bags will be there waiting for you. But more likely it will be another 10-15 minute wait.

Just after customs there are the counters to by the taxi coupons. There are ordinary taxi and deluxe ones. If you are in a hurry get a deluxe one, the cost isn't that much more.

The traffic should be pretty clear that time of night. If going to Shangri-La Putrajaya it should be about 40 minutes. So you will be there at a bit before midnight.

If going to Shangri-La KL it will take an hour driving. Also note that Shangri-La KL is on Jalan P. Ramlee which has a lot of bars and night clubs. If you are going on a Friday or Saturday night the road right near the hotel can get a bit congested at that time. But it shouldn't be too bad, but could add another 5-10 minutes. So you should get there a bit after midnight.

Richie thanks a bunch for that - YES Shangri-La in KL - and YES hand luggage only - you have provided perfect intel - thanks again.
