Depends what state you live in.

I did it many years ago and got work to ask if I could go on shorter trials.

I hated it

I'd get sick of so much talking I think. I'd fall asleep. And I'd want to ask questions of various witnesses that I reckon should be asked but may not be. But can't so would be so tempted to go home and google which is of course banned.

Those jurors who took part in that horrendous Mushroom trial deserve a medal. So long but quite interesting in parts.
