Received the offer yesterday, waited to see what people on AFF thoughts were and signed up today as a lowly bronze just for the Q chip although I really do prefer to interact with Qantas staff when checking in for a flight.
I have no interest in their "Qantas Cash" product.

I probably won't ever use the card until there's a promo on, but I'm quite confident that at some point QF will send me a promo about some kinda bonus offer for spends on the card. e.g. limited time, 3 points every dollar spent, bonus points for spends up to a dollar amount. Call me a bogan for signing up and trying to maximise my points accumulation, but then again, isn't that why we're all on AFF?
