6 out 6 in the family have received the email. Looks like everybody is getting the offer.

Only 1 of my family member accounts has the email so far, funnily enough it's the one that hasn't flown in many years......

I got the email today as a PS.

What is the earn rate on this Qantas card ?
1 point per $A ?

We both got the email today - but not rushing in just yet. Seems to be a lack of fine print information!

Apart from bragging rights, is there any benefit in registering now?

I assume that we will all get them eventually - yes?

No, no material benefit for registering now.

I expect its just some ponytail marketing person's idea to try to raise 'excitement' and 'vibe' amongst the punters. As the OP, I'm guilty of contributing to this!

Oh, I'm not knocking bragging rights. I just wouldn't have anything to brag about given I only got the invite today. LOL.

Hmm...I'll think about it some more.

Received the offer yesterday, waited to see what people on AFF thoughts were and signed up today as a lowly bronze just for the Q chip although I really do prefer to interact with Qantas staff when checking in for a flight.
I have no interest in their "Qantas Cash" product.

I signed up for one reason - promos. I probably won't ever use the card until there's a promo on, but I'm quite confident that at some point QF will send me a promo about some kinda bonus offer for spends on the card. e.g. limited time, 3 points every dollar spent, bonus points for spends up to a dollar amount. Call me a bogan for signing up and trying to maximise my points accumulation, but then again, isn't that why we're all on AFF?

This WP only got his email tonight as well. Some animals are more equal than others.;)

You have the right idea, certainly not a bogan.
