JQ flight moved to QF - less points and SC earned

Hi,

I was booked to travel on MEL-SIN JQ7 on a starter plus bundle, it was cancelled and I was moved to a QF 37.

I was due to earn 40SC and 6825 QFF points, I only earnt 30SC and 4550 points under the QF DEco fare bucket.

Not only did I lose 6 hours of my holiday, but I lost 10SC and 2275 points... I can't get the lost time back but I would like the SCs and points!

Anyone experienced similar? Any suggestions for recourse? Should I put in a QF points claim or hassle QFF via email?

Providing those calculations are correct, email Qantas and request original routing credit. It shouldn't be a problem. Include a copy of your original Jetstar itinerary.

Hi all, thanks for your help, this is all sorted.

So first email went unanswered, called up and was told they couldn't open the attachments. They requested images of the following; original booking, notification of booking change, changed booking and boarding pass.

Once emailed I called up again and was told it would be around 5 days but up to 28 days assess my claim. SC and points adjusted an hour or two later with the ORC.

The old "we couldn't open your attachments trick". They have tried to pull this one on me too.
