Have several hours (4) in JFK tomorrow before catching QF108 tomorrow night.

Brand new WP (don't even have my card) and understand that, even though I'm travelling PE, I get to visit BA's 1st class lounge.

It appears there are several options available (Terraces, First, Concorde Room and Elemis Spa) and I haven't a clue which is the one to head for.

What are people's preferences?

Paddy

BA first lounge is to the left after clearing security at the priority check in area. Terraces to the right (bit of a u turn). As emerald you will have access to both of these. Maybe try the first lounge, Terraces can be quite full.

The Concorde Room is only for BA passengers travelling 1st class, so you will not be able to access it

The Spa is a spa rather than a lounge for BA business class passengers and I am not sure whether A QF Platinum member can use it at all ; if you can it is something which you would visit for a short while from the lounge

As a Platinum member, you would normally be able to access the 1st class lounge, however since you do not have your new membership card , you may be declined access by the BA lounge agent. If you can access it, then this would be your best choice

If unable to access the 1st lounge then the terraces ( business class lounge ) would be the only option to you

If you happen to be arriving into T8 on AA, don't go through security.

Instead head to the T8 F/L where as a WP you should have access - it is FAR better than the JFK BA "F" lounge.

Head over to T7 90 minutes before your BA flight is scheduled to depart.

Note that QF108 passengers do not get access to the BA pre-flight dining facility attached to the terraces lounge. Only BA passengers can use that facility.

Once again, appreciate the quick and informed responses
