Yes i have made two successful bookings so far. Want another 2 more though..but cant be greedy i spose.

Syd-Melb 12 Dec
Syd-Fraser Coast 21 Nov
Fraser Coast - Syd 28 Nov

Still want another weekend in Melb, a side trip to Adelaide as well. I'm a uni student - these fares are pefectly times for the end of second semester and the holidays!

Wow! good luck to you! Am still trying and the site appears to be dead ...

I've managed to get to the credit card stage, put all the details etc. then crashed when trying to submit. How do we know whether the credit card is being charged or not?

Yep also gotten lucky. 3 SYD-AVV-SYD on 3 different weekends (well Sat-Tue). Website seems to be improving, people are giving up!

I've got my fingers crossed that no card is charged until a reservation number is issued on the screen (better be, or I'll be up for thousands!). Checked netbanking then and theres no extra charges so crisis over.

Yet to receive any emailed booking confirmations... assuming its too much to handle right now

I doubt that it would have appeared as a charge yet even if it had gone through. I am not familiar with NetBank, but Westpac are pretty snappy on reducing your available credit even if not charge dto the account. Best keep an eye on your available credit.

Yes, do tell us if you are successful in securing $3 tickets. It seems JQ website have crashed ... I have been trying for the last hour and got no where.
Yes I got 2 bookings. Had 2be extremely patient and many page refreshes...

Well, it is almost 11pm. Great that some forumites have managed to secured bookings. No success with me so I give up. :(

I wonder how many will find out tomorrow that they have 25 bookings in the system, as each "crash" happened after the booking was complete and CC charged?

Certainly won't be me as I never managed to get that far :!:

I'm just flicking through my online banking statement and there are "Purchase Authorisations" for both of the bookings I charged to my credit card, and no others, so I think it's safe to assume that all my failed booking attempts... failed.

On the last one It occured to me that it would be better to select the "direct deposit" payment option (and save $2 a ticket in the process). Just made the transfer for the booking I made using that option (hence avoiding all risk of double charges)

System constantly failing on me, especially the last step of booking ....

Managed to see my seats constantly taken out by someone else because of the cra**y IT system which always fails ...... What is the point ......

I managed to book a couple of seats for a return trip to Melbourne - got on quickly, but it was still 'processing' the sale when I gave up and went to sleep last night, however all confirmed this morning. However I booked a day return trip - down in the morning, home in the evening, what I have this morning is now down in the morning, back in the next day - not sure how that happened:?: I did check that both flights were for the same day before I hit the final button:confused:
