Malaysia to Sydney Sale
Jetstar's Malaysian Special!

KUL-SYD MYR 288 = 97 AUD

* On sale now until 20:59 (Malaysia Standard Time) Monday 03 December 2007, unless sold out prior. Sale may be extended. Flights are one way and are subject to availability (not available on all flights or days). Fares are non-refundable and name changes are not permitted.
Fares exclude SFTs (surcharges, fees and taxes), meals, refreshments and entertainment (available at extra charge). Additional charges also apply for payment by credit or charge card and for telephone bookings (1800 813 090).

As I posted on Flyertalk:

KUL-SYD AI is around 700 MYR = 235 AUD
BKK-MEL AI is around ~7500 THB = 270 AUD

NB, it is a saving of around 500 MYR on the normal KUL-SYD jetsaver fare, which is around 170 AUD.

Not their cheapest KUL originating fare, but about par with the Air Asia X KUL-OOL sale.

Thanks.

One question, futaris, how do you book the fares ex Asia without going to the Jetstar.com site (and getting the Aussie ripoff prices)?

It is the same website. If your point of origin is KUL then it will quote airfare in MYR. If your point of origin is BKK or HKT then it will quote airfare in THB.

Always a good idea with LCCs when booking return flights from Australia to check the 2 one ways first before booking. Some people have found significant savings when booking SYD-HNL as one way and then HNL-SYD as a separate one way.
