I used it last week to great avail for SYD-BNE and BNE-SYD. but when I went to use again for some flights in March, I found there was no longer a Jetstar flight within 1 hour of the Tiger service. It seems Tiger has dropped to 2 flights on some days and they don't match the JQ flight times. So QF was the next cheapest (was not willing to send Mrs NM on TT flights).

Yes I wouldn't send family or friends on Tiger, but I might send someone I don't like.:mrgreen:

Just completed an online booking today. Found it so much easier doing this compared to over the phone. If you have all the information ready early you can speed through it!

Sounds like an improvement, though last time I did it over the phone, it didn't take long.

Is the credit card fee waived online like it was over the phone?
 
It is waived.

It took 28 minutes online, I've never spent more than 5-10 minutes on the phone. So a disappointing first experience, but can't complain.
 
They seem to have gutted the CS chat team on this.
The past few times I tried (varying days and time of day) it was 45-min wait so didn't bother ... sneaky way of starting to phase it out perhaps?

the chat service has been around for about 9 months odd, when it came in the delays were lengthy and they introduced limited hours for doing them rather than 24/7 - not sure if they can phase it out though without losing lots of price sensitive customers to tiger
 
I once waited 30 minutes for the web chat with no response. I called the call centre and told them nobody was answering the chat. They did the price beat for me no problem.

I just did one then, wait was about 30 minutes. I prefer that to waiting on the phone, can just have it open on another screen while doing some work.
