Hopefully this is just a temporary bug... but I am trying to change (online) a Jetsaver fare to a different flight date. Problem is when I input the new day I want to fly, the Jetstar website is instantly downgrading me to a Jetsaver Light fare.

I have paid for a Jetsaver fare, the amount I have paid is higher than what is currently being charged for a Jetsaver fare on the new date (checked via a dummy booking) and yet, the website will only let me swap (+change_fees) for the Jetsaver Light fare. It attempts to charge me an additional $10 (+change_fees) if I want to stay on the Jetsaver fare.

ARRGGHHH!!!!

Hmm ... I wouldn't mind guessing that the Fare code you were originally booked on is now being used to designate a JetSaver light fare.

I think a call to JQ is in oder to get them to alter your booking code to reflect what you originally booked (i.e. Jetsaver with 20Kg Checked Luggage).

Jetstar appears to have fixed this problem.
OH NO they haven't.

I have just attempted to change another flight segment, and their website wanted to charge me $60, rather than $30. (Obviously I was trying to change to a new flight @ a lower JetSaver fare price, so there should be no additional fare difference to pay, AND JUST a $30 change fee.)

Well, the service from the Jetstar phone rep (when I called to complain) was abysmal, he refused to allow the call to be escalated to a manager or supervisor, [to enable me to explain things to someone who might understand that their system is compromised] and simply hung up on me.

ARRGGHHHH.... this should be simple Jetstar, I log into my booking, select the new flight I want to fly on (and so long as there are JetSaver seats on that flight for less than what I paid originally) I pay my $30, and that's it!

OK I accept sometimes there are bugs/issues/problems, BUT, if there is a problem with their system (i.e. not me @ fault), I should be able to call, and have someone do it for me manually @ $30... Instead it took a call to Qantas Frequent Flyer Premium desk, and a very helpful rep there (who understood I choose to fly Jetstar, because I am a Qantas Group customer) to find an equally helpful rep @ Jetstar, who was able to change my flight, and charge me just $30! I am very p!ssed off @ the moment!
