Saved $140 on the previous posted prices for our CNS/DPS return November flights (just got to wait and see if Mount Agung behaves itself?)

Awesome prices, particularly as the sale fares are only 12+ weeks out from departure.
I did manage to snare flights MEL > BKK back in January for flights to be taken in Late Nov , a smidgen cheaper than these sale fares. ( ie only $5 per person each way cheaper) but just goes to show that the early bird doesn’t always catch the worm. :)

Did CNS/DPS/CNS on no star late last year, pity no J and the Y seats were hard as a rock, departures were late and it was a ...t fight getting to the seat with the huge rush out of the tarmac terminal bus, near knocked us oldies over, then many backpackers shoving the bags into the lockers, we're done with JQ period.

Agree it's not a comfortable flight and departure times are a gamble.
The plane has been used that day on domestic routes before being brought around from Cairns domestic to international.

We put up with the 4 & 1/2 hours of pure bliss on Jetstar. For us beats going via Darwin, Brisbane or down to Sydney to Jakarta.
Flight departure times have changed, previous departure from CNS was around 9:45pm, our November booking is 6:50pm, arrival 9:25pm
Bintang time.

Had a laugh a few years back waiting for the CNS/DPS departure, young bloke seating across from us in departures pulled out
his foreign passport. Mentioned to him that it didn't look in good knick (which it wasn't), reply was he had been using it as ID to gain entry
into pubs/nightclubs. Lucky he still had it.
.

We two put up with it, flight times are awful, but Bali was enjoyable after a 3 decade hiatus, and staying in 5 star resort fora week in Seminyak for peanuts, yet have no plans to return. JQ really do need to lift their game on the CNS/DPS route and J (PE) would be a move in right direction as Y is a joke.
