To celebrate the Footy Finals, Jetstar are offering JetMail members an exclusive, members-only opportunity!

Fares to selected Jetstar destinations in Australia will be priced based on the number of goals scored by the winning team out of Geelong and Port Adelaide.

Jetstar will offer a thousand sale seats for each goal scored by the winning team.

For example, if the winning team scores 15 goals and 25 points on Saturday 29 September, the offer will be 15,000 seats on sale for $15 each!

The sale will be on Sunday 30 September 2007, so be on the lookout for your next JetMail with all the details. Sale period will be strictly limited.

Sign up a friend to JetMail now so they too can take part in our exclusive JetMail footy finals offer.

Hmm .. wonder where the "selected locations" will be?

I'll keep a look out as I travel betwixt G/F's this weekend ...

However, I expect another jq.com meltdown ...

I was thinking about exactly those two things, and where the flights will be from. Whether EX MEL SYD or BNE.
I will be up early sunday morning (is that when the sales are usually on?? - morning?), because I will be gone to work by 10am. I seriously doubt I will get even a single sector, as I always miss out on JQ sales.

GEELONG capped a sensational season with the biggest win in AFL Grand Final history on Saturday, a 24.19 (163) to 6.8 (44) thrashing of Port Adelaide at the MCG.

Wonder what the routes will be. And is it only routes to/from AVV and ADL?

While I didn't predict the flogging on the field, I can predict that the Jetstar site will have heavy load when this sale starts.

Anyone wanting to take bets on how much uptime the website will have?

any idea what time sales like these usually start? just wondering whether i need to stay past midnight, or just leave it for the morning.

Vinomofo is the best wine deals site on the planet. Good wines, real people and epic deals, without all the bowties and bs.

They do vary though it could be 8am, 10am or midday. I'd say unlikely to be midnight as they need to send out the email with the details and there is no sign of that yet.

I'll be looking v. closely at any possible availability MEL/HBA in latish May next year.

Back in March, from the NRL round 1 there was sort of related promotion with the Gold Coast Titans NRL side.

I snaffled an August day return for $18 e/w + $4 cc booking fee. ($40 all up)

Hmm, wonder what that will be for Serfty. ;) I doubt they'll have BNE-HBA's though. Still no email.

No availability unfortunately unless you go Wednesday and come back Tuesday. Maybe they clued onto it.

Thanks heaps for the link too smithym. Didn't come through until after you posted. Great to see BNE has such an exciting range of destinations again.

I'm only getting Tues/Wed availaility anyway for any of BNE's exotic destinations late May. Looks like another sale useless for me.
