Hi guys,

I am heading from SYD-MEL via JQ35, traveling whY as I now fit in the seats.

Can I use the First check in or do I need to use JQ?

Thanks.

You'll more than likely need to use the JQ check-in.

There's some evidence that the F desk can "reprint" a JQ boarding pass for you, but I have tried it a couple of times in SYD and they've not been able to do it (claiming they don't have access to the JQ system).

It can't hurt to try - you'll also need to be travelling without checked luggage obviously.

You won't be able to check-in via the F counter, only JQ. Unless it's a QF club domestic.

Most counters have the facility to do this.

However, it's more the case that they either don't know how to do so, or if they do, they simply will not.

See this thread: http://www.australianfrequentflyer....rogram/strategy-get-early-jq-check-32055.html

The F lounge will do the sticker but not access the JQ system, your better off doing OLCI, get the T2 QP to print a BP then get the F check in to apply the D sticker, works all the time and takes the three hours before flight check in opens issue out of the equation! If you want to take the F check in out of the equation PM me and I will let you know how
