Does the Orange>Blue>Silver boarding still happen on JQ flights? Had a flight on Jetsar today, and there was no priority boarding for JetFlex or early check-in passengers. What's your experience?

Now that JQ has moved to allocated seating I believe they've given up on the coloured boarding system. I can't recall if they boarded by row number on my last A320 flight (however they would probably not bother on that sized aircraft).

On a recent flight to coughet it was *class first and then by rows.

My last Jet* flight after the introduction of allocated seating was still boarded utlising the colours (allocated on time of check in). Jetflex was allocated the first group - orange. Flying with them again next week on a Jetflex fare, so it will be interesting to see when I get to board.

As of the 12th of May, they were still using the coloured boarding passes. I don't really see the point anymore. If they want to, it should be Blue boarding passes by the front door, and Silver via the rear door, comes in handy at places such as Avalon where people continually board via the wrong door!!

I fly DeathStar NTL-MEL and/ or return at least once a month, and have always exprienced the coloured boarding pass routine - fine by me as I'm always on a JetFlex.

Next trip is 06/06, so I'll see if there's any change then.

Yeah, was walking through MEL airport tonight and heard the usual Jetstar boarding spiel about Silvers need to stay put and (red and orange?) were allowed to line up in two seperate queues.

Twice I have flown Jestart International and both times they have lost my luggage. First time in December. Still haggling over replacement and the letter to Jetstar customer service came back saying that there is a six week backlog on complaints. I was a Qantas fare payer and was put on Jetstar out of Bangkok. Checked in Qantas counter in Delhi, bags checked though. They have no forwarding arrangements! Next time bags checked through to Amman from Jetstar counter in Melbourne - insisted they could check all th way through - guess what - they don't! Expected me to ring Jetstar office in Bangkjok and find out where my bag was! Thank heavens for Platinum Qantas Customer service staff! they were great. Never book me Jetstar again!
