Is there a less rewarding flight in the One World network?

The shortest I have done, and do regularly for work is BCI to LRE, which is 67 miles. This may be the shortest leg for QF Australia.

I had the mileage for a recent trip to the Baltic States hit my account - as per the screenshot below. The status credits were nearly more than the points!

It was a one-class Fokker 50 operated by Flybe Finland. About a 30 minute flight (only owing to the circular route to land at HEL).

Got me wondering though if there is any other flight on the OW network where you can accrue less than 17 points as a WP? Some of the new MH routes maybe?

Any ideas AFF'ers?

I've got the flight going the other way (TLL - HEL) in September and it appears to be an ATR72 scheduled on the route now. I guess the views should be fairly decent as can't imagine that the aircraft would climb particularly much?

We're catching the ferry in the other direction...

Welcome to my world:

Just looked in my statement (from the last month):
LHR-MAN: 38 Points
NUE-TXL: 59 Points
MUC-TXL: 78 Points
MUC-CGN: 59 Points

Do not want to start a discussion. I am keen to get the 10SCs for every flight, as WP and LTG is my goal. Every little helps (and I use AB quite frequently now) Until June they still count for my loyalty Bonus.

For AB: I do not trust their program (risk of bankrupcy). The flights would yield 250 Miles in their program, but redemptions are similar as bad as with QF.

So what about alliances?

We took the return flight on our way back to HEL-LHR. Funnily enough it earned 34 miles (so obviously booked into a different class). The views were great as the cruising altitiude is very low indeed.

Scarlett - Try and sit on the left as you get a nice view of TLL on take-off and then do a big loop of HEL on approach. The F-50 seating plan backfired on me a little as I chose 1A and 1C only to find that it is a rear-boarding plane. Last off! D'oh. It was a remote stand though so it just meant we were last on the bus.

Thanks for the heads up. Will have to get into the booking and see which seats I've chosen.

Another short flight is on MH Kota Kinabalu to Labuan which would be 70 miles and for discount economy earning rate would get 17 QFF.

that is operated by MASWINGS and I don't think eligible for Qfff points.

edited to correct: apologies... as per below... one flight per day is mh metal!

Most of the flights are Maswings, but I believe there is one mainline flight that operates the sector.

well when anyone finds it let me know.... I checked wed/thu/fri/sat and Sunday before posting. I guess with my luck the one flight will be mon or Tuesday :)

It's MH2609 which Kota Kinabalu to Kuala Lumpur via Labuan.

So in the last 2 weeks I've done 2x return trips TLL-HEL, all legs have been successfully credited with the 17 FFPs and 10 SCs. Obviously it was something to do with FLYBE not being a proper partner until now as pointed out by ncraigm. I still love the fact that despite the 20min flight time the hostesses are required to do a sweep of the cabin for duty free and snack purchases. Also still the same good ol' ATR72 and the poor FLYBE hostesses who wear those dental assistant uniforms.
