Is it time to stop whining about LCC's?

I have flown AK/D7/TZ dozens of times, especially intra-Asia, and have never EVER had a problem with them, despite paying rock bottom prices. (TZ SYD-SIN return for $150 opening special). I was upgraded to Scoot STREEEEETCH, with around 36" of legroom, and also received an OptionTown upgrade on D7 KUL-ICN for $50 which was bliss!

I only have one LCC experience: a 3K flight HKG-SIN, because I flew into HKG on a one-way JASA and wanted to come home on QF from Singapore, so I needed a one-way. The 3K fare was $250 tops; SQ wanted $500+ and CX was $700. Had 1A. I was comfortable enough in the front row, but my main gripes were:

1) No In-Town Check-In at HK Station
2) Only 2 check-in queues at the airport, no priority for people with bundle fares or QF status, so hideously long queues
3) Being bussed to the tarmac for boarding (though this also did happen to me on a KA HKG-PEK sector once, and KA is full-service)
4) The crew uniforms - it feels like you're in a McDonalds. Cheap cheap cheap. But the Thai ladies are friendly enough.
