iPhone / iPod Touch applications?

A couple of other ones:

BA Flights - good app for schedules. Also allows you to check in online.

tvGuide - ok tv schedules for Australia, NZ and UK. Content is good but it's a little slow to load up.

Wunder Radio - stream radio stations from all over the world.

Cheers,
Steve.

A good selection there. I had the BA program a little while ago but the found it a bit pointless - now that you can check in on line it becomes much better. Can it cope with multi carrier checkins? I.e. I am flying BA LHR-SIN and QF SIN-SYD.

I find the TV guide good but doesnt have One HD.

I will check out the Wunder Radio app this evening.

The check in section basically encapsulates the functionality from the web site, formated to suit the iphone screen - so the first page simply asks for your booking reference and surname and then steps you through the process.

I presume anything you can do on the regular BA website you can do here though I've never tried this with a QF flight sector. My understanding was Qantas still disallow on line checkin for international sectors?

Once the airlines all move to accepting digital boarding passes and this app does the last step in displaying your boarding pass and barcode for scanning it'll be really convenient.

Cheers,
Steve.

QF have now allowed OLCI for Int'l sectors.

hey Shazam is also handy if you go to a Trivia Night and they play an audio "name that song" question... cheat, me? Never!!!

Haha... do you go to the same trivia nights I go to? Is that why you always win?

About the overheating, seems it is a problem to do with the cases, as has recently been reported.

I have a gen II iPod touch, my favs are 2 Sudoku apps, one is 100% standalone, the other (enjoy sudoku) connects and compares your times and gives you a rating...

also...

Awesome ball - time waster
Paper Toss - time waster
iBeer - a reminder of what I need
Blackjack - boring waste of money
A Surgeon - keeps crashing
Suicide Girls - too many clothes
Bejewled 2 - great time waster!

I wont buy an iPhone - not windows push (exchange server) - screws me for email...

Mr!

Err .. you do realise you can configure exchange accounts just fine on an iPhone?

No i didn't, our IT people said that the iPhone wouldn't push email as did Telstra when I spoke to them (having so little regard for our IT!)

Mr!

I just stumbled across AirTycoon Airline Management v2.

AirTycoon - Manage your own airline company in the WORLD!!

FYI : Please use only English characters for your name and
company name. The save function doesn't work when you use
other language characters.

* More than 40 different screen views
* Precise and brilliant simulation modeling
* Convenient & easy user interface
* Game save and load (including auto save mode)

Are you dreaming of becoming a CEO? Do you want to test
your business sense? Do you want to be a tycoon in the
blue sky? Here is the way make it come true. Air Tycoon is
a genuine and highly addictive simulation game.

You can make your own company which can buy airplanes and
build routes over the 24 big cities in the world. When you
make a route you can control the schedule, fare, service
level to create more profit. After that, hiring more
employees is needed. You can invest for advertisement to
pull up company's name value and check the employee's
productivity for satisfaction of customers. If you need
more money for managing, you can get a loan and pay off
from the bank.

Game tips.

1. Make golden route first as you can.
2. Keep maximum investment for 3 categories(HR,
Maintenance, and Advertisement) until they reach to 100.
3. If you want to catch up your opponent, investigate
which one is the opponent's golden route, and then go in there.
4. Smaller plane is more advantageous for a competition route.

Just downloaded Air Mouse. Turns the iPhone into a mouse for a laptop or desktop. Install a small server app onto your PC. The iphone app lookand sounds like a mouse. Saves buying a wireless mouse. Also works for presentations. Also allows use of the iphone keyboard to type onto your screen

Who has the new iPhone 3G S?Is it worth getting?

I recently bought one, not having an old and new iPhone side by side I can't tell you how much faster it is, but it works pretty nicely for me.

Compass is useful when you're using the maps, to orient yourself, but apart from that, not used it.

Hmmm... I'm pondering: BB vs Iphone... ?

For me, it comes down to how much typing you do,
I find my BB much easier to type with , then my Ipod Touch,

But Ipod / phone is good for the screen size and lots of apps, etc,
