I use my phone as a phone is there something wrong with me lol :p

iphone, android, Windows Mobile....? Who cares what you use....its a phone and all the other stuff is very subjective to the individual...

Can we all move on now, pull up our pants and stop the comparisons...?

Well the thread is asking which phone so it seems kinda on-topic to discuss.

The 'rumoured delay' news always makes me laugh. Apple haven't even announced the device, nor will they announce anything until they are ready. No release date = no possible known delay. The White iPhone was just a disaster. It's a good example of how Apple mis-managed a situation (they just removed the item from the 'coming soon' list, and launched it in the UK today without much fanfare at all).

But who is spreading the rumour? Looks more media driven to me.

Not really :!:

That is what this thread is all about. Reading the thread is discretionary :!: ;)

How so, what are your problems with it?
I'm not even sure how to describe it.

It is not at all intuitive, it is flakey and it is easy to lose information. If you do a download and need to stop or pause you then have to start the whole download again. Even Microsoft is better that that one. etc etc etc :!: :!:

Hmm… whenever I’ve paused a download I have been able to restart it where I left it. Though I don’t often pause things.

I do agree the interface needs a little help, they just keep moving things around and changing them a little bit.

Until Apple brings out a phone that is better than the Samsung Galaxy S II, then the Galaxy will have the mantle. It doesn't matter when it's released ... it is the top of the pile.

Dual core CPU, excellent battery life (2 days I believe with reasonable use), an excellent screen (I wish Apple would stop rabbiting on about how they have the best screen in the industry), and of course the premier OS - Android.

Anyway, hopefully my phone will arrive by the next Brisbane drinks, I'll bring it along and you can play with it - and see how much better it is than the iPhone.

Looks like your Phone has arrived...

Yep galaxy s2 arrived on friday. Very nice. Battery life has been affected by an Android bug, but new firmware released on Mon has helped a lot.

Menus are fast, available apps are plentiful. Screen is very nice, and phone is thinner and lighter than iphone4. Slightly longer and wider, but bigger screen makes up for that.

I'm disappointed with Android. I give credit to Google for hard work but the Android user-sphere (I just made that word up) lacks coherency.
Market place is full of cough 'half-naked asian school' girl apps.
And each phone I have researched is full of bloat-oem'isk software.

In saying that, the dev process is sooo much easier.
But I'd rather apple's closed loop system, yeah its slow, I cant run flash but the user experience is FAR better!

I have to admit WIN7 phone sort of excites me.

I've run the 7.0.7392 NoDo build with copy&paste on my HD2, and I still prefer Android.

That being said I still run Windows Mobile 6.5 most of the time, just for TomTom...

The Open Accessory standard is another great new feature in Android...

I've been looking at all the Android tablets coming out, and the Xoom, Acer Iconia Tab A500, Asus EEE transformer and other Tegra 2 tablets look mighty appealing.
